Course Description

This course is about Public Policy and Administration in Greater China, covering several topics. It started with the framework of public policy and fundamental theory about governance. And every topic was elaborated with abundant cases, datum, and even cartoons. Knowledgeable and dedicated in teaching, Prof. TSAO encouraged critical thinking and class interaction. He was often surrounded by students for further communication beyond the course. It’s remarkable that he delivered us not only knowledge but passions and preciseness about research.

Assessment

Attendance and Participation 15%
Presentation, discussions and group project 25%
Research Proposal 10%
Final individual paper 50% (but those origial assessment altered accordingly in the end because of earlier closure of courses)
