Basic Accounting. Debit and Credit, Financial Statements, Bonds, Inventories, Deppreciation System, Present Value and Future Value of Money, etc
Prof skipped a lot of chapters. It's nice but if there's a lot to catch up if you want to major in acct.
Assessment
The grading is pretty generous but you have to be extremely careful in doing the midterm and final.
No attendance
Midterm : 45%
Final : 55%
Midterm was easy, so it really helps you. Lots of textbook-ish questions appeared in midterm. Make sure that you come to the midterm. If not, your final would be 100% your grade.
Final was a lot harder. No more questions similar to textbook qs. Prof took it to another new level, new forms of questions. You really must understand the whole concept. I took accounting on secondary so it wasn't that bad.
You can gain extra 4 bonus points by actively asking & answering questions, solving the problem on the stage, and bringing financial news to the class.
